Security Update for myPRES Access
At Presbyterian, protecting your personal health information is one of our highest priorities. To enhance the security of your account, we are introducing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for all patients accessing our online services.
What Is Multi-Factor Authentication?
Multi-Factor Authentication adds an extra layer of security when you sign in. In addition to entering your password, you will be asked to verify your identity using a One-Time Password (OTP) sent to your phone, email, or authentication app.
Why Are We Making This Change?
Healthcare information is highly sensitive. MFA helps:
Protect your personal and medical information
Prevent unauthorized access to your account
Reduce the risk of identity theft and fraud
Meet industry best practices for cybersecurity
What to Expect
myPRES users may be prompted to set up MFA when logging in. The setup process takes only a few minutes.
After setup, you may be asked for a verification code whenever you sign in from a new device or when additional security verification is needed.
